The long walk home...

We walked and dragged the bags around until we found the place where you could rent lockers. This was a bit of a walk, and we were at first going slightly in the wrong direction.
Mihiri was fairly suspicious that we were in the wrong end of town or something at the end but it turned out we had just got the wrong street marked on our map. So we managed to get the biggest bags locked up eventually.

Barcelona has some really fancy looking buildings, and they were marked on our maps so naturally we had to walk and see them. First on our list was the church Basilica of the Sagrada familia, which reminded me of a dripping candle. I can imagine this building showing up in a horror movie. Very impressive.

On our way walking from the dripping church we found some more buildings. Here is one:

The building below is also very odd looking. There were recently a building outside Mjölby (Skänninge) which was painted different from the others, and the government officials went nuts threatening the owner for breaking the conformity rules. I wonder what they would have said about the building below...

After visiting some more nice buildings and eating a sandwich we took our bags back and went to the airport where - surprise surprise - Norwegians check in system was broken. Lucky us. We managed to print the stickers where after someone at a desk sent our (slightly overweighted) bag along the belt.

The flight were going trough Heathrow UK (for some reason), and Mihiri doesn't have a visa for UK. We had tried to figure out whether we needed a transit visa but the travel agency, the airport, some web page we found and Norwegian were all in different minds about this so we really didn't know what was going to happen. A bit scary.

But we got on the plane back to Stockholm without any additional discussions with the border control.
At the plane to UK there were some turbulence. Strangely enough people were going "wheee!!" insteag of "aaargh!".

The car trip home was a story by itself. We landed around 23:00, picked up the car and went off along E4. Around Stockholm we realized that Essingeleden was shut off so they redirected us in to Stockholm (not the best place to be). Then our GPS'es started to argue about the best route. After some nervous hectic driving we were back on E4 for a while.
A bit south they had shut it off again, redirecting us out on the country side where we got stopped by the police. They let us go, but the car trip took sooo much longer than expected. Close to Linköping i was singing loudly (to Mihiris amusement) to keep myself awake.
