As I'm not writing this during the stay it's more of an image gallery really. But for those of you who feel better when you read about others misery (=mine), do read on. I was hospitalized during this stay...
We didn't bring a crib for Isak but as it turned out he could fit in one of the bags...
(Note the "o" formed mouth and the motion-blurred legs... Luckily there's no audio...)
Hotel Anantaya Chilaw
This hotel is located 84km north of Colombo, along the coast.
Although it looks nice on the outside the room was a bit less well maintained, dusty and with some black mold growing in the shower. With the low cost of employing staff in Sri Lanka I find this a bit difficult to excuse.
Hospital
I got an infection (caused mainly by dehydration) and after some days ended up in a hospital. The hospital was really nice, more like a hotel, but I wish they would have had used a plastic infusion because the steel needle was not very pleasant when bending the wrist.
Hotel CocoBay
This hotel is located in Unawatuna Beach, south part of Sri Lanka, 128km from Colombo (west coast). Isak tried a piece of orange for the first time in his life, but judging from the expression I don't think it's his first choice... He also visited his great-grandmother.
Galle Fort
This fort was built by the Portugeese and then fortified by the Dutch.
Rumassele Temple
We stopped at this temple building and walked along it to see the view.
