The bus trips are always interesting in these southern countries. I suppose they never get snow this far south so they cram as many tourists in the bus as they can and take of at amazing speed. The speed is kind of digital. Full speed ahead (hold on with both hands) or stop hard with as many falling and swearing tourists as possible.
Anyway after an interesting journey we ended up in this old harbor with narrow streets leading up to the fortress.
From the fort we had an unchallenged view towards the sea.
We walked on to another part (?) of the stone building where we paid some entrance fee, though it was not worth it. Kind of boring place.
Walking down we also briefly visited a graveyard with small photos on the tombstones. The dead really had a wonderful view and if you got buried here you could at least say you ended up with a sea view.
All right. Down again to the village/harbor. Now we were a bit hungry so we picked the first restaurant which was a mistake since they a) were very expensive and b) mixed up our bill with someone else's.
(ok I look a bit grumpy here but the pasta was actually quite good).
